Targeting CDKN2A-MTAP

Targeting CDKN2A-MTAP co-deleted mesothelioma

Deletion of chromosome 9q21.3 is a common event that leads to loss of multiple genes, creating potential vulnerabilities that may be exploited. We are currently exploring novel approaches for mesotheliomas harbouring deletion of MTAP and CDKN2A (which encodes p16INK4, and p14ARF), with the expectation that these strategies can be translated from bench to bedside through our MiST programme.
